the "problem" is that while we are usually rather careful about what makes it
into a released version of KDE libraries, kcm .desktop files have been added
and otherwise modified rather willy-nilly in the past. we'll have to be much
more careful in the future...
anyways... fixed up for now... will be cvs ci'ing shortly
