These options are very important and I agree with George that they can't
be removed. What could be a solution once I'll find some time and
release kconfigeditor is turning it into a KConfig XT file (which will
also be possible once I'll release kcfgcreator). Once Ian finishes the
QVariant editor we'll have a typesafe and widget specific editor for
values in kconfigeditor (not any lineedits or mysterious text fields)
so kconfigeditor will not be any more complex gui wise than this
control center.
Then instead of having so many things in the KControl we could export
the more advanced and rarely used ones as KConfig XT files which
kconfigeditor would use.
