Hello everyone,

the merged branch built fine here, on Linux with glibc 2.3.2 and g++ 
3.3.2.

It's now committed to CVS.

And I had forgotten a consequence:
6) libidn is now a compile-time dependency, instead of run-time. If it's 
not found during config, KDE will have no no IDN support.
