Italian quanta.po fix

Hi all,
I'm an Italian translator, and I've discovered a big mistake in the 
translation of Quanta GUI into Italian, which prevents the usability of 
message box (the one which pops up asking if you want to add a file to a 
project when you create it). I've fixed it, but my group can't update KDE 3.3 
BRANCH because it's in freeze state. What can I do? Is it possible to update 
that file before the KDE 3.3 release?
