ok, libs are another problem, but quite easy to resolve (not for 
packagers, but it's another thing)

 * shlibs don't have the same version number so they can be here at the 
same time in /usr/lib
 * youd don't want ot have binaries twice, so no problem here either
 * plugins, kparts, are in /usr/lib/kde<n> already
 * problems remains for arch-indep files (like icons, rc files, ...) that 
can really live in /usr/share/kde<n> instead of /usr/share

taken the fact appart that it will be hell to package this stuff, it is 
the good way to do that.


but note that very often, porting an apps from a kde version to the next 
is quite smooth.
