Aaah! Symlinks are the way to go. That way, if one deletes the application 
bundle, the stale symlinks under KDEDIRS can be spotted immediately, and also 
be deleted.

Yay! That'd finally allow complete uninstallation of KDE stand-alone apps 
without any package manager, and without any residue.
