Hi,

Since some time I experience strange behaviors in KDE CVS. The problem
mostly appears in 3 places: K Menu, Application Launcher applet and the
taskbar (this one is slightly different). In the first two case the problem
is: sometimes I click on the K Menu, select an application to launch, but no
matter how many times I click on the application name, it won't launch. If I
click outside of the K Menu area, it won't disappear. I can start the
application by pressing ENTER or get rid of the K Menu by pressing ESC.
I know that it isn't a mouse problem as the clicks are remembered, as after
using ENTER/ESC the other started applications receive the mouse clicks. This
is quite annoying. Same situation with the application launcher and other
menus (like the kicker menus).
With the taskbar the problem is that if I want to raise an application, it
many cases I have to click more than once to get it raised. It's easy to
reproduce with fast alternative clicks on two tasks. In some cases it's
visible that the taskbar received the click event, as two task button as
painted with dark gray (light gray is the default color for them here). In
the screenshot KPPP was active and I clicked on XMMS. It didn't become the
active window... Notice also that the KPPP tooltip is still visible.

Does anyone notice the same problems?

And a report for Aaron: the System Tray still has problems with its frame when
the Applet Handles are set to "Fade Out" or "Hide". In those case the fact
that the frame is visible or not, depends on if you moved the mouse over the
applet and how fast you moved out from there. And what I've just noticed is
that if you set the Applet Handles to "Hide", next time the dialog says that
it's set to "Visible" altough they are hidden...
