Not sure, unless that part of XDG is not what was committed the last couple of 
days, because I can confirm problem #1 during an upgrade from 3.1 to HEAD at 
least for my local switch about 2 months ago and on the HP laptop at Nové 
Hrady 2 weeks ago. The problem is thus at least some two months old.
