I don't like this idea, i much prefer have Kopete included in one of the main 
KDE package. an IM client is a great addition to the desktop. And that will 
make more poeple using Kopete insteads of Gaim.

This is another solution i like.
Theses "Snapshot" will be reserved to those which aren't depedent of a 
contrainious packaging system. People compiling softwares from sources will 
like it.

Basicaly, That's why KDE 3.2.x will be, some backport of patch stable enough, 
and bugfixes.
