KDirOperator suboptimal behaviour ?

Hi,

I use KDirOperator in multi-file-selection mode, i.e. I can select more than 
one file.
Now I have a small problem, if I select a file using single left mouse click, 
both fileHighlighted() and fileSelected() are emitted. If I select the file 
using ctrl+lmb, also both signals are emitted.

I'd like to start an action if the item is selected using lmb-only, but not if 
it is selected ctrl+lmb.
Is there a way to do this ? I didn't find an obvious one.
