pgm: graymap or greymap?

I'd like to make KView able to open pgms. But I stumbled over an inconsistency
in KDE: In kdelibs the mime type of pgm is defined as
image/x-portable-greymap but everywhere else a pgm is called a graymap
(notice that "gray" is American spelling while "grey" is British english).
Even khtmlimage.desktop uses "gray".

Which one should be used?
