Kolab is already ready for production use AFAIK. But without a Kolab
client it's not that much worth.
Kroupware is the Kolab client which is developed by some Free Software
companies for the German BSI. It's more or less a quick and dirty hack
of KMail and KOrganizer which adds groupware functionality to KMail.
For information about it's status please have a look at
http://kroupware.kde.org.
On LinuxTag 2003 Tobias König, Daniel Molkentin, Marc Mutz and I will
present Kroupware at the BSI booth.
Kontact will be the official KDE Kolab client. But of course it won't be
restricted to Kolab.
I don't know if there are other (non-KDE) Kolab clients.
Regards,
Ingo
