KIO Seems to not remove temp files

Greetings
	Is there a change/regression in head with KIO, on irc today we found that 
files opened via kio (kweather, kwrite, kuickshow) do not delete their temp 
files.  Is there something that changed?  Are we doing something wrong?  
Ideas?
