Stefan was working on another all-audio system. Whatever system we choose
the next time BC breaks (whether aRts or something else), it has to be
something that does audio, too. See the kde-multimedia archives for lots
of discussion. Look around late February of this year, in threads like
"Media Options for KDE 4" and "aRts vs JACK."
