The version I have (0.2.1) is already in KControl and is not installed in
the K menu elsewhere as a separate app. It installed to Look and Feel,
but no longer fits there with the new name Appearance and Themes. I guess
Peripherals is the best fit now (especially if it is renamed to Hardware
and Peripherals for KDE 3.2).

I think I shall move kcmxv from System to Peripherals, as the new name
"System Administration" doesn't fit that module anymore, and since kcmxv
and kgamma are fairly similar, they should be in the same place. I think
the KControl reorganization did well, since it just caused two similar
modules in two different groups to move together. :-)
