I think you misunderstand. This adds a menu entry to the context menu in
kfm/konqueror so that you can print files without having to launch the
application which views them. It makes it quick to print files while
browsing directories, by launching the print dialog and asking the app to
silently print it (without showing a mainwindow).
Quickprint within an application could certainly be confusing.
