error in admin/am_edit

Hi all

System is Mandrake 9.1. 
I got the kde-common module from cvs, and kdelibs from cvs. Tried "make -f 
Makefile.cvs" in the kdelibs (admin is linked to ../kde-common/admin) and got 
this:

*** Creating list of subdirectories
*** Creating Makefile.am
*** Creating configure.in
*** Creating aclocal.m4
*** Creating configure
*** Creating config.h template
*** Creating Makefile templates
*** Postprocessing Makefile templates
Split loop at admin/am_edit line 844.
make: *** [cvs] Error 1
