The font-installer creates "Fontmap" files, and sets GS_LIB to look into
$KDEHOME/share/fonts (KDE3.1) or $HOME/.fonts (KDE3.2). This *should* be enough
- this Fontmap file should list all the fonts contained (even in sub-dirs)
(Well in fact its startkde that does "export GS_LIB=$GS_LIB:$HOME/.fonts")
If setting FONTPATH is required - will it look into sub-dirs? i.e. if you
have
$HOME/.fonts
$HOME/.fonts/wibble
will "export FONTPATH=$HOME/.fonts" work for fonts in $HOME/.fonts/wibble?
