FWIW, this works fine for the few apps for which I still do this under KDE 
3.0, but with Qt 3.0.x and the 3.1 beta (but KDE 3.0).

Even Konqueror 2.2 runs fine under this environment, although I don't think 
anyone would actually do this, apart from testing whether it works, like I 
did ;-)
