compilation of koffice's karbon breaks

Hi!

I am compiling koffice 1.2 for kde 3.0.5 at the moment. The compile run breaks 
at karbon/core/vcanvas.cc:

cc-1152 CC: ERROR File = vcanvas.cc, Line = 222
  Expression must be an lvalue or a function designator.

                m_part->document().draw( p, &KoRect::fromQRect( rect ) );
                                             ^

1 error detected in the compilation of "vcanvas.cc".

What does that mean and have you any hint to make the compiler happy? The 
platform is IRIX 6.5.18 with MIPSpro compiler 7.3.1.3m.
