Showstopper: kcontrol and konsole icons still broken

Hi,
I know, it's weekend and all that, but this is important.
I think the current icons for konsole and kcontrol are a kind of showstopper
for the 3.1 release. The reasoning behind this has been layed out here
already, not only by me, Michael Brade and Alexander Neundorf also voiced
their concern.
Just to sum up the facts again:
a) the konsole icons' main colour changed from black to blue. Users are
accustomed to clicking on a black terminal to get a konsole window, changing
the colour breaks their expectations. Ok, while this does not make life
easier for users, for the sake of a consistent look&feel we can sacrifice a
little of users' convenience. But then PLEASE change the session icon for
konsole, too! Right now it is _green_.
b) The recent CVS update introduced a new kcontrol icon, a black terminal
screen with an orange wrench in its corner. This is an extremely bad idea and
we should not ship 3.1 with this icon in such a prominent place. This as bad
as introducing a binary incompatibility: It changes the meaning of a well
known symbol (black terminal == konsole) into something completely different.
The orange wrench is not enough to make a clear distinction.
This is just like QWidget::show() suddenly changed the colour of a widget
instead of the former behaviour.
I think we can live with a) alone, but a) together with b) is an unbearable
situation.
regards,
matze
