Well I am offering to try to do some of the Sun Q&A, since belive it or not
there is a fair amount of Sun spacific code (as is there freebsd and irix)
that your tests will never ever exersise on ia32 linux.
What I was hopeing for is we could get platform testers to come forward and
volenteer a config that they will test so that we can say "Yes KDE does in
fact run on solaris in config a with version b of solaris" Currently we have
nothing like that.
Ill post of kde-solaris to see if we can get volenteers there, hell maby
someone at sun will even do this :)
After getting killed before over projects that tested great in the lab and
flopped in the real world, I am very sensitive to makeing sure that even if
we test okay in our "lab" we can also test in the real world.
Meanwhile ill go trolling the kde-solaris list for people willing to test
stuff.
