Showstopper: kmail hangs while copying mail between imap folders

im on 100mb to the server in the basement... but now that i think about it, 
could it possibly be an issue with KMail missing a signal back from the 
server?  i have seen instances where things have returned fast enough that 
things like QProcess have missed them... but im hard pressed to think the 
sockets would do the same...  that and the fact this seems to happen every 
time.
