After each update of kmmainwin.rc all user-added actions are gone

Hi,

I added the "Mark All Messages as Read" action to the toolbar of my 
KMail main window. But each time someone changes something in the 
kmmainwin.rc (and therefore increases the version number) after the 
next KMail start the "Mark All..." action is no longer in the toolbar 
and I have to re-add it manually.
The same happens with the Composer where I added the "Spelling..." 
action.

Shouldn't the user's ui.rc file and the new ui.rc be merged after an 
update?

I don't know if this is a KMail-only problem (are we doing something 
wrong?) or if all KDE programs are affected. Therefore I cc'ed 
kde-core-devel.
