And why not finally have a vote page for the following applications:

A. CD-Burning Apps (k3b, cd bake oven, etc...)
B. Instant Messaging apps (kopete, licq, kxicq, kicq, etc..)
C. Text Editor apps (kedit, kwrite, kate, etc ...)
D. Graphics viewer apps (kview, etc...)

We can have a web page on dot.kde.org with the categories and selections, let
people vote for few days (I can put it on slashdot) and the winner will stay,
while other applications will be moved to another package (maybe something
like "KDE extra gear")..

How's this idea?
