Hi

I asked a related question on kde-devel the other daybut no-one seemed to know
- - so this is kindof a last-ditch before I do the dirty and hard-code some
stuff in.

Is there any sort of registry in KDE where apps can look up human-readable
audio codec names from their IDs (as listed in RFC2361)?

(I'm asking because of the AVI kfile plugin; this is pretty much the last
thing it needs before it goes into the green 'Done' bit of the 3.1 feature
list :)

Cheers
