Alt-MiddleClick opens window in background, ctrl-MiddleClick opens new tab and 
Ctrl-Alt-MiddleClick opens tab in background maybe? On LinuxTag someone also 
asked for the option to open windows in the background and I have to agree 
that often it would be darn handy, but should not replace the current 'in 
foreground' option...
