is 2 minutes a little slow for Konqi to load?

Hi,
	This has been buzzing arround the lists for a while about KDE CVS head and 
Qt-copy 3.0.4.  Since we made the jump to 3.0.4 on the PPC, we have noticed 
that konqi takes about 2-3 minutes to startup on a 400Mhz system.

	 From what i can tell is it loads kde allof the std actions almost instantly, 
but then sits for a good 2 minutes.  Then it just goes on as normal.

	Gdb has given me hints that the problem may be in QRegExp().  It just sits in 
there from what i can tell.  It was called by XMLGuiclient find version 
number.  I know QRegExp is slow, but now I am thinking this is an endiness 
problem because someone told me this happens on OS X too, in both X and 
native Qt.  I am WAY over my head in here so anyone willing to help me please 
let me know.
