ASF spec licensing issues

Look inside - there's ffplay, which also plays asf...

Going through the specs won't help so much, and I already heard that the 
specs.. how should I say it politly... not very accurate, and I don't know 
how much the specs reflect wmv2 (thats Windows Media 8 format)..
