KDE & Autopackage?

Hi,

I just read the article at OS News (and looked at the screenshots of 
autopackage):

And I was wondering about 2 things:

1. Will it be possible to "associate" by default the .package extension to 
autopackage binary?
2. Does anyone from the KDE team works on some nice KDE front end for it's 
install/uninstall?

I think that having some sort of integration with Auto Package could greatly 
help users when installing/uninstalling apps, specially with a nice KDE front 
end..

Opinions?
