Well, here's a situation that I'm in that's broken, and I think other (third party) folks might run
into this too:
I have some docs that were created prior to 3.0 (actually somewhere in the pre-3.0/post-2.x
phase) that have worked just fine prior to this week. Now, with HEAD, suddenly my application
won't build.
This obviously isn't difficult to fix (and I've actually been too lazy to do more than not make the
docs), but again, let's say that someone (i.e. a third party developer) had taken their docs from
a KDE 2 based release when they ported to KDE 3 (which I assume is not an uncommon
case). Now, unmodified, their app won't build.
Is that acceptable for a minor release? Honestly I don't really care; I'll just fix my app. But I
thought I'd kill a little bandwidth and point this out. ;-)
