I think Lubos' patch allows the best of both worlds.
* If you type one word, a DNS query will be done (limited to 0.5 secs),
to direct you to the right thing (hostname, or google search).
* If that delay bothers you, you can still apply the current solution, i.e.
define a regexp for that word, so that admin -> http://admin
This means you don't lose anything in your particular case, but people
with huge LANs automatically get the correct result.
