Maybe I should add an explanation: I know of quite a few people already who 
totally missed the Font Installer in the "System" area because it did not 
occur to them that they should look for another module besides Appearance 
-> Fonts. Besides, many people probably do not think in categories like 
"System" settings and "User" settings.

Therefore, I was wondering how the "Font Installer" could be made a bit more 
visible (not only to newbies)?

Maybe it could be combined with Printing to an extra "Fonts & Printing" 
module while the "Fonts" in Appearance get renamed to "Screen Fonts" for 
the time being and may be integrated with the redesigned Theme & Style 
module if the day comes? (Not really sure about this myself. After all, the 
installer does not only take care of fonts for printing.)
