inconsistent URL handling (e.g. info ioslave)

Hello,

I noticed some inconsistency in the URL handling of the info
slave, but I think this might be a general problem not limited
to the info slave:

If you enter info://cvs with two dashes instead of one / you will
get the cvs info page. While the handling of the URL is pretty
intelligent here (as opposed to the audiocd slave where typing
audiocd:// in konqueror resolves to http://audiocd// which is pretty
annoying) it is only partially so. If you compare the pages returned
by info:/cvs and info://cvs you will notice that on the the former
the links work but on the latter they don't because the second /
seems to be interpreted as root with respect to the info pages
directory.
