Why does race, gender etc. Even have to be discussed. More politics in a non political place. I'd rather talk about tech and furthering this project. This is ridiculous.

Language barrier problem. Unlike in English, in German, the literal
translation of the term "race", i.e. "Rasse", has a different meaning than the
English term "race". In particular, the German term "Rasse" cannot and must
not be applied to humans, but only to animals.
