I could suggest to consider apartment renting in places like this:

Seems they have two buildings. One is about 15 minutes walking to downtown
and both are between 5 or 10 minutes walking to the city beach. The city
beaches are not paradisiac but are good enough and with a lot of services.
Both places are about 5 to 10 minutes walking to a L18 bus stop to the
university campus.

For any option you choose, please book ASAP since is high season!!
