Hi,
Just as a side-note: while I do have plans to bring Krita to the OSX app
store and the Windows app store, after the port to Qt5, the reason for
doing that work is to generate income for the Krita Foundation, which in
turn funds Krita development. That's the most important thing about app
stores for me: they can provide funding.
