I used to play with shared posts between fb and twitter for promotion
but eventually removed the links. Why?
1. These channels offer different styles of posting
2. If you add G+ to that, it's visible when posts are re-shared, what
is worse than genuine posts.
Sharing "apps" tend to add their ads and so on.

Moreover I am convinced that if posting costs you more than nothing,
you post one-two well formulated messages a day and won't waste time
of your audience with more.

Hint: Include well prepared image or graphics to your posts,
scientists say it increases popularity and re-shares fundamentally.

PS: Posting to 3 or 4 places is in no way competitive to what the
Alexandra Leisse used to do while working on promoting Qt. IIRC it was
10 to 20 places!

PS2: I am admin of LinkedIn KDE account. Well balanced
work/career-related posts especially make sense there.

PS3: No idea if identi.ca is alive BTW, I am posting there but how
popular is it these days?
When I tried to read comments, it moved me to pumpbuddy.us for example.
