I assume what Mario meant is what you also mean, just worded
differently. It is a bit confusing I must confess, e.g. I became a
certified "Qt developer" when I was just using Qt without developing
Qt proper. I think the "developer" definition is quite blurry out
there.

Either way, I think what is more important is that it is fine to come
to kde-devel and ask about the libraries, regardless whether your
project will reside within KDE or elsewhere. For instance, I am happy
to go to a freedesktop mailing list for asking about such issues even
though my project may not be a freedesktop project.

Could someone who sees the severe disadvantages please clarify it? Thanks.
