It's good to hear that this project is going forward. When Kdenlive
was considering their move to KDE, a group of us gathered some
information to help them in the process. Perhaps there is a bit of
useful information in there still:

Having read the summation in the wiki, I doubt this doc will be useful
in full, since years have passed since then. But of course, use
