Yes. The same issue has come up with Windows. Given the tendency for
software from the UNIX world that has been ported to Windows (and
possibly Mac as well) to use bundled bin/share/lib directories, some way
of adding paths to the QStandardPaths results on those platforms seems
like a good idea.
