I built kdelibs with the 3 patches in this series on FreeBSD 7, which is
the oldest release still supported by the FreeBSD project itself, and it
worked fine. I can still try to talk to some developers about the
historical needs for this flag anyway (I don't really have an urgency to
commit this specific patch).
