So it must be a hard dependency of kontact/kdepim. That doesn't have
anything to do with making soprano a hard dep of kdelibs. Various KDE
apps work just fine without nepomuk and there's no single reason to
force them to depend on soprano and the rest of the semantic desktop
just because kdepim needs it.

I haven't seen a single important reason so far for doing that. The only
reason given so far was simpler cmake files and thats IMHO not a good
enough one.
