Do you mean testing if it is found automatically ?

Create a new dir, put a CMakeLists.txt in it:

find_package(Automoc4)

--------8<--------8<------------8<--------

Then run cmake 2.6 on it. If automoc4 is found, everything is fine.
If it is installed in one of the standard dirs like /usr/local/lib, this will 
just work. If it is e.g. in /opt/kde4/lib/, set the environment variable 
CMAKE_PREFIX_PATH to /opt/kde4 before running cmake, then it should also be 
found.
