Having KDE .so (not .so.4) libraries in the default paths like /usr/lib 
or /usr/lib64 is a big problem no matter what. Having the .so.4 files is 
also a problem if you're using --as-needed.

My recommendation is that, if you're building KDE, get rid of your 
distribution KDE files that are prefix=/usr.
