Yes this is good. Currently errors are too hidden in the cmake output.

Request to the cmake developers: it's the same when there's a missing macro used by 
some cmake package or file; this should abort cmake, otherwise that error is too
hidden and people don't notice it (the end of the cmake output looks like everything
worked fine).
