where to install the cmake files to ?

Well, you answered your own question. :)

This would be my dream.  That way 3rd party developers don't have to 
distribute whatever our /admin turns out to be with their KDE 4 source, they 
could just say, "make sure to have kde-buildsystem 4.0.foo". ;)
