I meant that the produced Qyoto libs no longer depend on .NET 4, assemblygen still does but this doesn't matter for deployment.

MONO_LOG_LEVEL is Mono only. But I see from your other e-mail that you've passed that part already.

Yes, the reference to System.Environment.SpecialFolder.Windows in src/GeneratorData.cs only resolves under .NET 4.


Re: your debugging suggestions, I can't try them out under Linux, since I can't get a Qyoto-dependent project to compile under Linux right now -- the compiler crashes with a bogus TypeLoadException.  Later, I will try building Qyoto under Windows with Mono, and see if it supports the same MONO_LOG_LEVEL environment variable.  If not, I'll dig up the instructions for running C# executables with gdb under Windows, and see what I can find.

    Steven, you may feel happy to know that I dropped the dependency on .NET 4. It turned out to be a two-line change. :) Please notify if you have problems with a .NET 3.5. project.
