Yakuake is a drop-down terminal emulator based on KDE Konsole
technology.


--- Release Notes ---

* Yakuake 2.8.1 for KDE 3.4 and 3.5 contains a number of new
   features and bug fixes over 2.8.0 and takes its place as the
   latest stable release.

* Yakuake 2.9-beta1 is the first public release of the fully
   rewritten KDE 4 version. It contains all of the improvements
   of Yakuake 2.8.1, and more. Have a look at KDE4FAQ file in
   the archive file for some of the caveats that apply to this
   version. Note that as this is a pre-release version, trans-
   lation coverage is limited compared to the stable release.
