Interesting.  I haven't played with the kwin zoom effect til today.
It's quite nice indeed.  I tried on my real machine, and the cursor
did scale, but I noticed it changed style.  When using no zoom the
cursor is oxygen style white with a bit of shadow, but as soon as I
zoom in one level, it changes to the old style white with black sharp
outline.  It stays with the old style for all zoom levels except 100%.
